Old school or new? In search of the best 3D glasses

The advent of 3D technology in theaters announced a race between DVD and TV Manufacturers to bring the same quality viewing experience at home. It is "active" because the lenses of different liquid crystals in them, along with a polarizing filter so that when electricity is applied, it darkens the glass and the light just can not pass through. This means that the left and right eyes alternately closed and can be synchronized with the "refresh" the screen display. The battery-powered glasses, and some people experience discomfort televisions with very low refresh rates, typically 120 Hz or less.

Like most TV manufacturers are already taking market units, which cool two to three times that rate and since this technology is easy to adapt the home theater arena, seems the most likely candidate for the best 3D glasses.
