My New TYR Swimming Goggles!?

Ok i just bought this new swimming goggles(Optical).
Well there was some sticky stuff in the underside(inside) of the lens. Meaning . I dont know what that thing is but i accidentally rubbed it with water and that layer got smooched.. What is that layer? issit the Anti-fog layer or issit the lense power?

Hahahah calm down child.... there is nothing to be worried about. If its a prescription goggles, the power of the lenses would not be affected even if you drag it across the tar road. ( Maybe just blurred vision from scratches )

The slippery and sticky stuff that you meant that is inside the lens is the layer of Anti-fog that all new goggles come with. With use and through time, this layer would be washed or wear off and you will have to buy some Anti-fog to apply it inside.

However, my advise is, you do not need the anti fog unless you are planning to do some marathon swimming or long distance events. If not, don have to. You can stop during your laps to de-fog it by dipping it into the water or what i do most of the time is, before I swim, I will dip it into the water and retain a little ( just enough for it to swirl around while you're swimming to keep the fog away but not enough to keep getting into your eyes ) in the goggles.
